I can't figure out why it does this, any help would be appreciated.

I have a javascript function with will request a php file, get some information from a database, and then pass it back (with JSON) to the browser.

IE not refreshing page

n this page I'm designing, I have an ajax script that loads another page into a div. The problem is when I update the external page, it never shows the new, updated external page in IE6. I have to clear the cache for it to show the updated page. This is the page with the problem. It works fine in Firefox (wow I love that browser), but if your IE has seen the old version of the page, it won't show the new one. Even if you refresh the page, it only refreshs that page, not the external one. Could it be a problem with my script that just isn't compatible or is this a common problem in IE that I have to work around?

I have had so many problems with IE it's not even funny. Thanks so much for the help!

To be honest, you can't rely on questions and answers. They can tell you what you want to hear. Ask them to show you what they did in the last couple years at least. If you have no idea about how to tell good design/coding from bad, don't do it yourself, as an expert to meet your prospective hire and evaluate him or her. I have an impression that you don't know too much about web design, otherwise you wouldn't ask this question. I recommend you - don't do it, let someone who can get an objective and qualified opinion do it for you. Otherwise you risk hiring someone who will not be able to deliver what you or your clients expect.

I have an XSLT transformation that creates degrees minutes and seconds for latitude given in 1/10.000 minutes. I don't need the formula or corrections, don't be scared :).

I have a problem with the line:

while I calculate the sec varible like this:

and the decimal format looks like this:
CODE

It seems that the calculation of the sec variable returns the value '0,0E0' instead of simple '0' and this leads to the exception.

There is one more thing, the problem only occurs in Java code as while I transform the same XML with the same XSLT in XML editor it works OK.

At almost six months since it was initially introduced to the public in Beta stage, Windows 7 has gathered an audience almost half the size of all distributions of Linux available on the market, according to statistics from Net Applications. While Linux is flirting with the 1% usage share mark, Windows 7 has grown to no less than 0.42% of the operating system market. And with the next iteration of Windows now at Release Candidate stage the market share ballet against Linux, Mac OS and earlier releases of Windows is only in the first act.

Windows is down yet again at the end of May 2009, accounting for a usage share of 87.75%. With just XP and Vista available on the market, Microsoft has continued losing market share. XP dropped from 62.21% in April 2009 to just 61.54%, but Vista is not using the context created by the aging operating system to its advantage. XP's successor only jumped from 23.90% to 24.35% from April to May 2009. And considering that Widows 7 will be made available to the general public ahead of the 2009 holiday season, Vista will never hit the 30% market share mark.

Mac OS slightly increased its installed base, to 9.81% at the end of the past month compared to 9.73% in April, in the context in which Apple's operating system seems to have stopped its steady growth. Mac OS X went as high as 9.93% in January 2009 and it was looking like the 10% mark would be beat soon, but that wasn't the case, with the platform's usage share fluctuating for the past months, a situation sufficient to keep the OS under 10%. XSLT stylesheet, XML doc and images

I have an XML file that has, among its elements, a element, pointing to an image file in the working folder.

The XML file is a collection of movies, each with a jpg of it's box office poster.

I want (need) to convert this XML file to HTML via XSLT, and I want to use a xsl:for-each statement to do it. However, I do not know how to bring over the image file element. I do know that does not work.

I modify the SensorML document to reference my XSL stylesheet and try to view the document in Firefox, I get the following error message:

in which line 2 is the line that references the XSL stylesheet.

Is there a way to create a CWM file that has data definitions in it for each of the columns in the database table? For example, I have this line from my CWM file:

I want to add data definition of: "The charge attribute is a unique value for each charge in the system."

Firstly a big hello to everyone and I am looking forward to becoming a regular member on these forums.

Payment Network the company I work for is soon to be launching in the UK under the brand name DIRECTebanking.com and currently we are looking for about 5 UK based beta testers to try out our payment method.

The ideal tester would need to have a web shop that handles approx 500 transactions per week, preferably having the ability to integrate as an independent shop, it is a relatively simple integration and we would assist (at launch we will include our already existing payment providers and software cart clients along with some new UK specific partners) but we would like to avoid any prospective client having to go through the registration process twice.
